This past Saturday night, 101.1 WJRR's Native Noise Host (and Maverick Brand Ambassador) Supa Dave hosted his first HEAR for the Holidays Contest Show at The Haven, in Orlando. In October, bands from all over Florida had the opportunity to enter the contest and have their fans vote for them over the course of about a month. The top 4 bands who received the most votes then moved on to the Finals, which took place last Saturday. As Maverick continues to grow, our focus continues on supporting up & coming bands and providing our customers with cool, comfortable and unique apparel & accessories. With the continued growth of our brand, has come an outpouring of endorsement requests, and as such we are restructuring our Endorsement Program for bands. We would love to be able to endorse every band but as a business, that is not feasibly possible. Maverick & MVK Music Group announced Wednesday that they are planning a multi-day music festival in the Central Florida area for some time next year. Leadership at Maverick/ MVK Music Group did not disclose the potential location of the festival and stated that dates have not been announced, as of yet, but that it would most likely be during the fall months. Earlier this month, Chicago based Hard Rock band Chout made their first brief tour run in the Southeast, stopping to play shows in Nashville, TN & Orlando, FL. For their first stop, the band played a show at The Cobra in Nashville, TN, sharing the stage with True Villains & Saint Dorian. In case you missed it, ctmasterhearthservices Co. recently announced that they had added Feral Sun, a hard rock band based in London, UK (by way of South Africa where the band originated), to its roster of endorsed bands.
